I've spent years learning how to care for others. 🤍 Lately, my body has been reminding me that I deserve that same care, too. 🌿 Between painful periods, poor sleep, and jaw tension from clenching, I knew it was time to stop pushing through, start listening and get support. ✨ What I love about acupuncture is that it's not just about treating symptoms, it's about understanding the whole person. Before a single needle was placed, we talked through everything that had been going on, from my cycle to my sleep to my stress levels. 🌙 And yes, despite how it looks, I find it incredibly relaxing. 😌🪷 One of the unique blessings of my life is getting a front-row seat to watch my husband do the work he was meant to do. 😻 After years of caring for patients, he's recently opened a Saturday practice with the intention of making acupuncture more accessible and creating a space dedicated to serving our community. 🙏🏽✨ 🌎 I see the care he puts into every treatment, the way he listens, the intention behind every recommendation, and the genuine desire he has to help people feel better in their bodies. 🤍 Leaving this session, I felt calmer, lighter, and more connected to myself. 🌸 If your body has been asking for support, whether that's painful periods, stress, poor sleep, chronic tension, or simply a chance to slow down and reconnect. Today, I bow to the divine feminine within all of us 🌺✨🙇🏽‍♀️ Every time I participate in fasting during #Navratri—the festival honoring the 9 avatars of Durga—it renews my connection to self, community, womb energy, creation, grace, yoga, meditation, intentional eating, and above all, God through the divinity within 🤍 Within these past 9 days: 🔻 Woken up looking forward to my spiritual practice with consistency and joy 🧘🏽‍♀️ 🔻 Enjoyed sharing knowledge with the community through my stories 📲✨ 🔻 Gained powerful knowledge with so many of my loved ones through my Level 1 certification in numerology with @numerana.english @numerana777 🔢 🔻Rested deeply and took moments to check-in with my body 🔻 Lost weight in all forms—physical, mental, and spiritual 🌿 🔻 Experienced a deep release and relief of compounded jaw tension from acupuncture with @cmn.wlth 💆🏽‍♀️ 🔻 Slowed down the mental chatter 🕊️ 🔻 Shaken off some limiting beliefs 🌀 🔻 Reconnected with adorning myself in colors 🎨 🔻 Remembered that food is medicine and observed how fasting helps curb mindless overconsumption 🍎 🔻 Meditated with my loving partner @cmnwlth.j while practicing yoga from a distance with my soul sister @numerana.english 🤍 🔻 Practiced the power of YES—making a commitment to say yes to everything this month 🙌🏽✨ This winter was heavy energetically, and this feels like a reminder that shifting into a lighter mind/body space happens in subtleties—small wins, little steps, and mindful manifestations.
