Culture shapes what we believe is possible.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to lead a workshop with 20 aspiring entrepreneurs selected for the University of Tampa’s C.R.E.A.T.E competition.

For many of them, this was their first real step in entrepreneurship. Taking an idea they care about asking how they could actually bring it to life.

We talked about starting with why, using new technology to build faster than ever, and ultimately asking more important question:

If we can build almost anything, what is actually worth building?

The next generation has no shortage of talent or tools. We want to help inspire them to use both to create things that genuinely make peoples lives better.

Huge thank you to the University of Tampa Entrepreneurship Center for letting us pour into the next generation of creators.

Cupcake Crawl + Celebrating Nate 🧁🏃‍♂️ | 8.29.26

This morning, we ran the 5K at Celebrate Birthdays’ 4th Annual Cupcake Crawl and got to celebrate their honorary Cupcake Kid, Nate. 🩷

Celebrate Birthdays works to make sure foster children and children in need have the opportunity to feel celebrated on their birthday and receive a gift. The annual Cupcake Crawl brings the community together to support that mission.

Grateful to show up for Nate and an amazing Tampa organization. We’re already looking forward to getting even more involved next year.

I feel like I’ve worked so hard to train myself to live in the moment and be present that I forget to stop and capture it.

So much has changed in the last 6 months.
The last photo was me before I moved out of my high rise apartment, walked away from what I was doing for income, and decided to fully pursue what is now Change The Culture, even though I had no idea what it was going to look like at the time.

Turning 25 honestly sparked a quarter life crisis in me. July through October, I wandered from the mountains of Colorado to Colombia trying to find myself. I was lucky enough to have a close friend by my side through a lot of that journey.

December marked over a year sober, something that once felt like it would be one of the hardest things I’d ever do, but now just feels like part of who I am.

And maybe that’s the curse of growth…
A lot of the things that once felt monumental now feel normal. Effortless. Almost expected.
You don’t realize how far you’ve come because you’ve become so adjusted to the person you had to become to get there.

I still catch myself comparing my life to millionaires on the internet or people further ahead financially, forgetting how much success I’ve already built in the areas that truly matter, my health, discipline, self-awareness, relationships, peace, and purpose.

It takes real faith to go all in on what you believe you’re meant to do when the money isn’t sitting right in front of you.

And that’s exactly why I care so much about what we’re building with Change The Culture.
Because I genuinely believe so many of the struggles young adults face today, depression, comparison, emptiness, constant chasing, stem from a lack of purpose and fulfillment.

No mater what woo woo proper say, money matters. Success matters. But without purpose, none of it means anything.

Trying to do a better job documenting life more often.
Because when you’ve worked this hard to be present, it’s not always easy to remember just how beautiful life has become. by @mitchhetrick
