Happy 2026!

Sending my deepest gratitude to all the people who have been supportive and wonderful to me throughout the year just past.

2025 has reminded me that staying simple was the hardest and the most important foundation to me.
I don’t usually make a New Year’s resolution, but I would like to try for ‘keep things simple and find the happiness’.

Wishing you all a year full of joy and love!

いつも皆様には大変お世話になり、心より大きな感謝を伝えたいと思います。
自分にとって、シンプルである事が一番難しく重要だと改めて気付かされた一年でした。
2026年は、「シンプルと幸せな人生」を掲げ自分をもっと知って行きながら精進して参ります。

Everything started from the one text I received last December from Horia - the man behind @orea.uk - asking if I would be interested in taking a part in his new product release.

It caught me by surprise, but my answer to that was of course ‘yes’.

At our first meeting, Horia shared his strong vision and concept of how he wanted to reveal his project to the world.

The filming process was full of mystery and excitement - I still remember vividly till this moment. It felt like a dream, that I wished it to last forever.

Thank you very much again Horia, for such an honour and special experience to be part of the your incredible journey of new era of OREA.

It was my absolute pleasure to meet Mordy and Joel, and the Team @sibaristcoffee at the popup during The London Coffee Festival week as well. Brewing @caravanroastery’s coffee amongst all other phenomenal coffee professionals all over the world was just unforgettable.

Home Brewing with Right Roast 🏠☕️💫

Today I’m sharing my go-to brewing recipe when I’m still waking up…

🟤 The coffee:
Ol’ochoy AA, Kenya (washed) roasted by @liquiddream.coffee from @therightroast

🔪The prep:
15g coffee
255g water
92 degrees
25 clicks (Comandante)
11ppm (or close to zero)

🕖 The recipe:
Pour 50g for four time,
with 30 sec in between each pours.
Add 55g of water for the last fifth pour!

Massive thanks to Caravan, where I had the opportunity to watch and learn the entire coffee‑making process from start to finish. I am sad to leave, but excited for the next chapter.
I would like to express my deep gratitude:

🫂 Coffee attracts and connects people.
I am very lucky to have worked with so many inspiring members of the brew‑bar team, coffee‑school, and the tech department. Everyone is unique and cool. Thank you all for the great times together!
The community I got to know and become part of through working at the brew bar has been an absolute honour, and I will miss it tremendously.

🫘 The power of people is also evident in sourcing green beans. Working with wonderful seasonal coffees alongside long‑standing coffee‑producing partners taught me the importance of trust and human connection.
I also enjoyed coffee roasting immensely. Some days were tougher than others, but learning and handling the whole process was exciting then and still is now. Thank you @zuz.pahatch, for teaching me and introducing me to the world of roasting!

🥄 Quality control is where I developed my sensory skills—thank you, especially to @coffeewith.enk, the GOAT. It allowed me to focus on perfecting each cup of coffee. Doing production cuppings with the legendary coffee team was so much fun, and I’m humbled to be part of it. Thank you once again for your kindness and knowledge.
I learnt that quality control is not the end; it’s the ongoing work that creates unforgettable experiences.

☕️ Without the production team, we wouldn’t have the coffee we enjoy at home and in our local stores. I truly appreciate and respect what the production team does every day to ensure smooth delivery.
Thank you for the fun times together and for packing for us with care in hot and cold weather! I will miss you very much.

I’m so grateful to everyone I met and worked with at Caravan—thank you for what you taught me and for supported me these past years.
