I can't stop reminiscing about the unforgettable experience at Caren Tea Ceremony in Kyoto, Japan. 🍵🇯🇵 From the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful traditions to the warm hospitality and authentic tea ceremony, every moment felt like stepping into a living piece of Japanese history. It was truly one of the highlights of our Japan journey and a memory I'll treasure forever. Today was jam-packed with adventure and culture! I started the morning strong with a full-body workout at the Holiday Inn gym, surrounded by inspiring art decor throughout the hotel 🎨💪. Next, we headed into the heart of Mérida for a city center walking tour, exploring the rich history of Centro and Independence Square 🏛️. From there, we journeyed an hour outside the city to the breathtaking Hacienda Sotuta de Peón, where we learned the traditional process of making rope from the Henequén (Agave/Sisal) plant. The highlight? A scenic horse-pulled flatbed ride leading us to a crystal-clear cenote, where we cooled off with a refreshing swim 🐴💦. We wrapped up with a delicious regional lunch full of authentic Yucatán flavors. Our evening took us to the Tren Maya headquarters, where we were treated like VIPs and got a sneak peek into their new luxury train packages, excursions, and incredible gastronomic offerings 🚄✨.
