AD - @wallpanelsworld - DIY Desk update

The acoustic slat walls panels, from Wall Panels World, they look fantastic

In shot includes an Ikea hack desk I made. More can be seen on my grid for this.

I’ll be dressing this space next so keep a look out for it!

Don’t do this! #fail *test as everyone likes a fail

I try my luck at seeing how I can push tape while I record pulling it off. This is absolutely not the technique you should use. Otherwise you’re putting yourself at huge risk! 😄

I pulled this while wet, but I’m way too for away from the point it’s coming away from the wall. Also the angle needs to be for smaller you pull at. If it’s not, you’re most certainly going to pull paint off like this.

There’s plenty of opinions on how to use or not use tape. Everyone likes a fail, so here’s one to laugh 😆 at 🙌

A bit of a different post here 🏥

I’ve been going through a bit of a journey personally for the last few months. Now I’ve managed to get fit enough for my hospital operation.

Got through the op fine, now back home. It’s been a brutal journey thus far to get to this. But it’ll be worth it in the end!

Just means I’m not allowed to do DIY for a bit though. Sorry no new tape pull asmr reels. But I may have 1 or 2 I’ve not shown yet 😄

But as that famous saying goes.. “ I’ll be back”

While I’m not mobile for a few weeks, I’ll share some updates though. But all the new projects around the home have to wait, while I have to rest up!

AD @wallpanelsworld - I’ve added a bit more to this DIY Ikea hack desk I’ve made.

The acoustic slat wall could not be left blank, there was always a plan to add more.

I’ve wall mounted the Samsung Frame Art TV, along with Ikea picture ledges, mirror and added a wall clock.

I just need to hide the PlayStation away at some point.

The idea of the desk is a gaming space plus space to do school work. It’s working well so far!

Have I ruined it? No way!

This DIY desk will be handling a lot of cables no doubt. So I’m attempting to be as tidy as possible by adding this desk cable tidy.

I’ll show the desk complete in my next reel on here, keep an eye out for it

DIY desktop power installation

We needed to add power to this DIY desk. As you can see this has a few plug sockets plus usb c ports. After making a hole in the desktop, you simply plug this into a wall socket.

Do you need more power?

If you want the details of this unit, comment or dm me

This garden room is changing my life!

That’s no understatement, it’s multifunctional. My home office, gym, cinema room, general living space and a functional shed.

I’m on a journey currently, as my health took a massive downturn earlier in the year. I’ve had to make some expensive decisions, this being one of them. But it was a situation of taken on more debt to improve my health. It’s a huge risk but it had to be done 💪🏃🏻‍♂️

Here’s an early Saturday morning clip in the garden

Ad - @wallpanelsworld - Changes are coming!

Here I’m adding 2x Acoustic Slat wall panels from @wallpanelsworld . I want to make a feature and give more to this boring wall behind the bed headboard. I’ll be doing more, but for now this is how it looks!

House trends and aesthetics, our house is evolving into a home 🏡

Have a scroll through to see where we are at right now

This new build is a blank canvas. I’m not really planning flowing detail, but I think it’s happening organically. You see these photos show some commonality now. I’ve got more to do here and I’ll be sharing how it evolves along the way.

IKEA desk hack mark 2, you know what’s coming next?!

This is bedroom 2, our youngest son liked the ikea hack desk we did in bedroom 3. So I’ve been asked to do another one. Slightly bigger this time.

Essentially it’s 2 ikea Alex units and a made-to-measure desktop with a lack Ikea shelf. But… what’s coming next?
