Today's carry came to me from a knife buddy who's no longer around. If you're going through something, talk to someone, it's not a sign of weakness, it's just a sign that you're willing to put in the work to stick around. Life takes a toll, counseling is just like physio for your brain.

Appreciating my Prometheus Design Works Invictus Alpha today. It's a shame Jeremy Robertson isn't making knives anymore, he did some cool stuff. There are quite a few handmade touches on my Alpha, it's nice to see the imperfections that come from not all being made on a CNC machine. by @mosesedc

Spent some time exploring the beaches of my childhood. Back then I would have had a Wrist Rocket and a Wenger Swiss Soldier. It was time well spent. by @mosesedc

When I opened the knife drawer this morning, I started to reach for my 95T again, and then my Mini Onslaught caught my eye. I haven't carried my Mini Onslaught in quite a while, and it's the only Benchmade I still have, but I really like it. This is an awesome little knife, and I'm glad I've got it. This is the Shot Show edition from 2012, and when I got it it was the nicest knife in my collection. It's cool to have pieces that show the progression of your collection.

Today's mug with today's knife. For some reason I keep reaching for the same few knives 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Turtle on the trails this evening.

I wanted to feature my new helmet, it's a Specialized Ambush 3 and it's really comfy. After ejecting headfirst into a tree in mid-June and destroying my POC Tectal Race, I needed a new lid. I wanted another POC, but they changed their MIPS liner and my favorite helmet no longer fit my big-ass head. After trying dozens of helmets, I finally found one that fit. I sure hope I don't get to find out how well this helmets works.

FWIW, if a POC helmet fits you, I whole heartedly recommend them, without my Tectal, I wouldn't still be me.

A DUK enjoying the morning sun. The milling detail on this knife is fantastic.

Got up from my desk today for a snack and when I got back, I liked how the sun was shining through the mesh back of my chair, so I had to take a pic. I like how the mesh shadows accentuate the turtle milling on the handle of my 95T. Do you guys see pictures almost everywhere you go?
