Though he doesn’t get the ball much @sateki_tongi makes sure he makes the reps he does get, count.

Going from one team all little league to another team has brought quite a bit of a challenge.

But teki hasn’t changed as far as his passion for the game. He’s brought that same passion, tradition and culture to this new team.

Became a leader and introduced culture and pride to this team.

Out of 50-55 plays a game, he only gets the ball on average, 2-3 carries. Something he’s not use to.

Getting more defensive reps than offense. And still makes it count.

Different play books and coaching, the same effort every play.

You live and you learn.

Throwback Thursday.. aka forgot to post this one from the drafts. Lol

100s of pounds added to their totals, handful of state records and unofficial national records.

Also Siua almost was late to his first deadlift because he had to use the bathroom.

They argued during warm ups. Siua almost forgot his belt 3rd attempt.

But overall, proud of these two. Glad I got to witness the strongest 11 year old hit the platform again.
