Ain’t it fun?

Ain’t it good?

It’s so easy to ignore trouble, when you’re livin in a bubble

But ain’t it fun?

Living in the real world?

Ain’t it fun? Ain’t it fun?

Baby, now you’re one of us

Knee in the middle over under
Such a key position and one Of the strongest places to set up a takedown on the wall.
As always, look to understand the technical details of the move but also realize that your success in the fight will be dictated by your timing, tempo and intensity.

Get your back up off the wall! & Get back into the fight. Little details can make all the difference and here Dylan shows a cool way to adjust your grip to increase the pressure on your opponent and to be able to escape a dominant position in order to get back to center and strike or follow up with your own wrestling. taken in Elevate MMA Academy by @mrbeenready

ADCC Atlanta was one of the best times I’ve had in jiu jitsu in a long time, it was awesome to see so many people in the South East competing at a very high level but I gained a whole new level of appreciation for our local athletes at this event. I watched match after match of NC folks representing both against out of state opponents and familiar faces. I have so much exposure to some of these athletes through commentary and tape study or being lucky enough to train with them; so I wasn’t shocked with the results I saw, but I heard judges, crowd members and other competitors comments on these guys and gals and I think we all left them with a lasting impression to say the least.

It doesn’t matter if we’re in another state or competing in our own backyard, the grit and tenacity of Carolina’s finest is always on display; Bella, Sasquatch, Nate, all my folks from @charlottejiujitsuacademy killed it, but the best match I saw of the entire weekend was Jack Cornwell vs Vincent Morelli jr, who went back and forth in a shootout with Jack implementing his signature donkey guard but Vincent defending extremely well before the sequence in the last clip.

Very excited to commentate Torocup this weekend, see you all there 😁✌🏼 taken in Atlanta, GA by @mrbeenready

First ADCC tournament in the books! Got 2nd in intermediate and competed in the advanced bracket. It was rough with the back to back matches, but I came out here and did what I needed to do. There’s always room for improvement, I am happy with my performance overall! I appreciate all the support I had tonight and the new connections that I made! Looking forward to the next one. 👊🏼

Thank you @mrbeenready for being in my corner and helping me get here for this tournament!
