Now I know what you’re thinkin’. What’s a fella like me need oodles of designers for? Well, I actually depend on them quite a bit. For instance, my Haggar pants… the crotch, down where your nuts hang, is always a little too tight. These good folks help me out by leavin’ me about an inch from where the zipper ends round under back to my bunghole, so I can let it out there if I need to.

Amara Payton McNeil is a New York-based, Hartford-raised, theatrical lighting designer. She is a member of IASTE USA 829 and was the 2023 Howell Binkley Fellow. As a visual storyteller, she aims to create an immersive experience for the audience, using vibrant colors and dynamic angles to bring texture to the stage. She enjoys work created for and by the black community as well as projects that blend performance and culture. Credits include Broadway: Romeo & Juliet (DMC), Stereophonic (Asst. Max Van is in the pursuit of being a jack-of-all-trades, master of side quests. He has worked on productions, concerts, galas predominantly as projection and sound designer. Credits include, Human (MassMoca, The Shed), Human (MassMoca, The Shed), Amahl and the Night Visitors (Lincoln Center Theater), Left On Tenth (Broadway), Intríngulis (Theater Row), Mano A Mano (La Mama), The Word of the Day (Classic Stage Company), Road Kills (Good Apples Collective), and more. You may find him being shushed for laughing too loud in the room. His side quests include participating as an Apple Corp member of the Good Apples Collective, and working as an Associate Production Coordinator to put together the annual synthetic-biology iGEM Grand Jamboree. this show was an absolute dream. to be in a room with such POWERHOUSE actors, on a team that is so incredibly kind, and smart, and genius, and FUN is a blessing I will never take for granted

to be opening my 3rd broadway show a year post grad is truly such a surreal experience. i know my grandma and auntie c are smiling down on me and keeping me going
