This week I’ve brought you all something different. This is NOT a perspective we’ve seen before on Disabled & Proud. This week I am joined by the formidable @ms_emma_gardner the other half of @wnfcreative

What is it like being a mother or a parent to a disabled child? How do you parent a disabled child? How do you foster that sense of disability pride? We also discuss how Emma’s work is directly affected by her own experiences and wanting to create a more inclusive world for her Dot ❤️‍🔥

Em is a beautiful reminder that we are ALL learning as we go along this life, and that disability is NOT a tragedy.

A Little Life by Hanya Hanagihara - impossible to rate, such mixed feelings about it. Beautiful in parts, fell in love with a lot of characters, it made me cry but so much ableism to reckon with.
