This year, we will observe National Latina Equal Pay Day on October 8, 2026. Since this campaign was launched more than 10 years ago, millions of people have moved to action to sound the alarm and call for change.

As a part of the campaign, we honor individuals who embody this year's campaign theme, “Power.Pay.Progress.” This first group of individuals represent "Power." Through their dedication and hard work, they have helped to advance economic, civic and narrative power for Latinas and many others. We are grateful for their leadership and commitment.

As a part of the campaign, we honor individuals who embody this year’s campaign theme, “Power.Pay.Progress.” These individuals have demonstrated the progress that Latinas are making through their leadership, whether it be by supporting entrepreneurs, improving workplace culture, holding political office or earning her seat in the nation’s highest court. Latinas are rising and lifting up others in the process. We are grateful for their leadership and commitment.

Facing criticism and adversity requires steady practice and courage. Principles are truly tested when opposition arises, whether through an online comment or a direct disagreement over an important stance. Developing the ability to remain calm and steadfast in such moments is an essential skill that must be nurtured over time.

In this episode of the Rethink Podcast, host Christian Scott sits down with Mónica Ramírez, founder of Justice for Migrant Women, to examine what it takes to practice conviction daily.

💜 Earlier this month, Equal Pay Today, alongside @mujerxsrising and @mifamiliavota, cohosted an event in LA celebrating Latina power and advancing the fight for equal pay, economic equity, and voting rights. by @mujerxsrising

“Survivors vote because we recognize the power born from the pain that we have been trying to figure out what to do with.“

Our Co-founder & CVO reminds us that survivor justice is on the ballot. Whether it’s reproductive rights, gender-based violence, or economic justice, our votes shape the policies that impact our lives. We are a powerful chorus of voices that will stand up for the justice, safety, protection, and healing that we deserve.

Together, we’re not just voting; we have the power to transform systems.

To Dolores’ family and all who loved her, we grieve with you. Today, our hearts are broken.

Dolores Huerta was one of the greatest leaders of all time, and for our founder Mónica Ramírez, she was also a friend, a mentor, and a partner in the work. She always showed up for farmworker women and other people.

I had the immense honor of knowing Dolores for almost thirty years. Her greatness goes far beyond what we read in the newspaper articles or see on social media. She was funny, fun, and fierce. To know an incredible person like Dolores is a gift beyond measure.

Rest in power, Dolores. We will love you forever. by @mujerxsrising
