“She hates men”

Vivian joined us after being rehomed to a family friend. They tried to make it work but Viv just wouldn’t stop barking at the man in the home.

We were (& continue to be) on intake hold but her original fam covered her expenses & she was not doing well in the home… plus we have her 2 other siblings in rescue (a mom & son). .. and she is an old lady. 🥰

So we said yes.

She has severe hip dysplasia, a luxating patella & is missing a lumbar vertebrae.

She’s on a fresh food now & on a much needed diet. She has started anti inflammatories & 3 different joint supplements.

Most importantly, after a few weeks of her howling nonstop from being so lost - she is now settled in, adores our pack (human, cat & dog 😂) . She is treated like an absolute queen. She spends her days tottling around with the animals, sun bathing, snoozing on multiple soft & plush items, & grooming the man of the house 😂

She’s home.
