You gotta move. ❤️
Not just for the workout, or the hour to yourself.
For your strength. Your energy. Your mind. And your future self.
The closer I get to 50, the more I realize just how important it is.
And I love that I still get to do it alongside all of you. 💪

Before The Fitual, before everything I’ve built, there was dance. ❤️
This was one of my first principal roles. I remember the nerves, the endless preparation, the self-doubt, and wondering if I was good enough.
Looking back, I realize how much my dancing career prepared me for running a business in ways I never could have imagined.
The long hours, the nerves, the constant corrections, the moments of doubt. Learning to work with others, to trust the process, and to keep pushing even when things felt uncomfortable.
In dance, you’re never really finished. There’s always something to work on, something to improve, another level to reach. And I think, without even realizing it, I carried that same mindset into building The Fitual.
The desire to keep learning, growing, and evolving has never really left me. And neither have the nerves or the moments of doubt!
I’m still learning, still making mistakes, still pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Just on a very different stage now. 🥹❤️

40 years in business, and somehow there’s always something new around the corner.
Last week, I was so happy to be in Toronto for the grand opening of @modernambition’s first store outside of Winnipeg.
So much talent, passion and hard work behind this team. It was so cool to be there and watch it all come together.
@ashmodha , your dedication to every detail, the experience you create and the standard you set inspires me more than you know. ❤️ by @myfituals

I’ve learned that if something matters to you, you have to make time for it.
School. Work. Your health. Your family. Whatever it is that makes you feel like you.
There will always be a reason you’re too busy. I have them too!
But you have to make decisions about what you want to make room for.
And especially when it comes to movement, find something you actually love. Something you look forward to. Something that keeps you invested enough to keep showing up.
Because if you don’t enjoy it, it’s really hard to make it matter.
Make the time. Find your thing. Keep showing up.
Here’s to fall, getting back into routine, and making a little more time for YOU.

Team Fitual always warms my heart.

Year after year we come together to raise money, move bodies, and spread awareness for something that matters deeply. @cancercarembfdn Challenge For Life 💛

This year, I was reminded how cathartic this event is for me. It holds space for healing, and for the ongoing grief of losing my parents. For the things I didn’t know, and the things I wish I could have done differently. It still hits hard in the gut.

But being able to support this beautiful cause brings me a little more peace each year.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and showed up. Our mission @thefitual is always to MOVE WITH PURPOSE and yesterday, that’s exactly what we did.
I am especially grateful to always have my family by my side on the days it means the most.
