#1 🥹 To be the first female in this position is an absolute privilege.

I can honestly say that in one way shape or form all my best friends have come from this industry, we would never survive without the support of one another. Seeing this list fuller than ever with the names of some strong and amazing women, along with people that I've known since I was 19 that are still working tirelessly around the clock with a passion that has not diminished, makes me feel a sense of positivity and hope that more than often gets lost along the way.

Thank you to @mrdavespanton , @amyspanton and the Spanton Media team, you guys have created a platform that supported independent operators, bartenders, bespoke brands and more for over 25 years. What an absolute feat.

The journey to making this industry stronger, safer and more successful is only just beginning. So mostly the thank yous go to my family, friends, colleagues and especially staff past and present. I have never pretended to get it right all the time, but I will always continue to try to do the best I can to support you and be there for you through your trials and triumphs.

An evening of Japanese whisky, considered pairings and a little Hibiki magic 🥃✨

Last night, Bennelong Bar welcomed Suntory Ambassador Natalie Ng for a special exploration of Hibiki, with curated whisky tastings, signature cocktails, Bennelong canapés and a cheese pairing.

Held on the 40th anniversary of Suntory Hall in Tokyo, it was an evening celebrating craftsmanship, balance and the art of bringing different elements together.

What a night at Bar Selecta 🥃✨

A very happy birthday to Bar Selecta, and a huge thank you for welcoming us so warmly for BO$$ NIGHT: SUNTORY.

The evening was a brilliant celebration of Japanese whisky, food and hospitality, beginning with a guided House of Suntory tasting and five-course dinner, before rolling into Tanoshī Jikan, a late-night cocktail takeover filled with rare pours and one-night-only creations.

At the heart of the experience was the Japanese spirit of Omotenashi; a thoughtful and wholehearted approach to hospitality where every detail is considered before a guest even needs to ask. From the carefully curated whiskies to the food pairings, cocktails and generous hosting, the entire night felt deeply intentional.

A special thank you to the wonderful Natalie Ng for guiding us through the House of Suntory journey with such warmth, knowledge and storytelling. It was a privilege to taste iconic whiskies including Hibiki Harmony, Yamazaki 12 Year Old and Hakushu 12 Year Old, alongside a few seriously special mystery pours.

Congratulations as well to Reuben Beasley-Palmer, Elliot Pascoe, Chef Geoff Marett and everyone who helped create such a memorable evening.

A stunning and opulent collection of Hibiki Whiskies at @ralph_louis_frederick last week. A must visit whenever in Adelaide!
