Meet Elisa.Japanese by way of some of London’s favourite food spots; including @koyalondon @thecamberwellarms and the wonderfully inventive @bompasandparr Elisa brings an incredible understanding of flavour to Sète. She somehow weaves her Japanese heritage into our very European menu in ways that feel completely natural. And yes, she’s our resident pickle wizard.When Elisa joined us, she was certain she didn’t want to be Head Chef. But with a little encouragement, a lot of support, and a team behind her, she’s stepped into the role with flying colours. Watching her grow into it has been one of the most rewarding parts of this year.She’s patient (she even taught @nataliaribbe how to survive in the kitchen), calm under pressure, and has built an incredible team for the summer season. She leads without shouting, listens more than she speaks, and makes everyone around her better.She may be small, but she’s an absolute powerhouse.We love you, Elisa.
