Quite honestly don’t even know where to start this—I think the best way is by thanking @jimmyawards for the best week of my life.

The week went by in the blink of an eye but I made lifelong memories and learned lifelong lessons. The people that I was surrounded with were the most kind, genuine, and supportive people I have ever met. I got to meet and work with Broadway professionals who not only affirmed what I was doing but guided me to greater success. (Shoutout to @colinhanlon and @janetdacal)!

The performance was a truly surreal experience—I’m very honestly still trying to wrap my head around what actually happened. I am still and always will be grateful that I was chosen as one of the recipients of the “Showstopper Award.”

One piece of advice I was given and will hold with me forever is this: “Nothing to prove, everything to share.” I was also given so much more advice that will shape the actor I am becoming.

A special shoutout to my RAP partner @thecarolinasanchez for standing by my side this entire week, forever proud of you.

Another special thank you to @officialmetg , @brindleydrama , @megobrien81 for your constant support—I am so proud to be an METG kid!

Thank you to all of my family and friends supporting me on this journey—it means more than my words can say 🤍 by @nathan_d2008

So grateful. This experience has truly shaped my entire life! I am so happy that I got to spend the past 12 days doing what I loved. More posts to come on the week!

I just want to recognize the award that I received - I received the “Showstopper Award” for the featured group this year (Chicago The Musical). I am filled with so much joy and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the whirlwind of a journey.

That’s it for now - love you all. 🤍 by @nathan_d2008

•The Wizard of Oz 2025•

Having a brain don’t make parting from this show any easier, goodbye Wizard of Oz. To my fellow cast mates, thank you. This is a show about a journey and the importance of the friends that you make along the way. I’ve had the pleasure of getting close with so many people during this show and they are such an integral part of my life. Waking up and getting to do what I love will never get old. Playing the Scarecrow was a dream come true, I got to be myself on stage which is the most rewarding thing. Each show I do, I learn; this was one I definitely took in and will apply to the next role I play. I’m filled with so much gratitude (and hay) while writing this, thank you to everyone who supports me on my journey. 🧠 by @nathan_d2008

I learned so many new things and I am so grateful to have been apart of such a wonderful production! 🕺🚗 by @nathan_d2008

•The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane 2025•

“Open your heart, someone will come. But first you must open your heart.”

My miraculous journey came to an end this weekend, a journey that I will be eternally grateful for. We made it to the finish line with this show, touching people’s heart with our beautiful show! I am so happy to have been awarded for my acting at all 3 rounds of fest! I have learned so much about my acting while playing Edward, I’ve made so many new friends from other schools as well! And it’s so crazy to think 4 months ago I got cast as this role, uncertain how to portray it. Until someone told me, be you. So that’s what I did, and I am so happy I did! So I encourage you while you play a character to be yourself, you never know the journey it could take you on! This year’s festival showed everyone’s true love for theatre, including mine! Thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey this Festival 2025! Can’t wait for next year!!! 🐰🤍🧳 by @nathan_d2008

Wow, 2024 what a YEAR! Every moment of this year was so incredible for me and I’m so thankful for everyone who brings sunshine into my life! The start of this year started off SO strong with a performance of Hairspray, followed by my FAVORITE time of year… FESTIVAL!! Festival 2024was an amazing experience to have and it taught me so much about theatre, I loved making memories on and off stage! Can’t wait to see what this year brings! By far the proudest moment of my life was being a 2024 finalist for the Jimmy Awards! Those people were SO incredibly talented and I am so excited that I made strong friendships through that! In the moment I knew theatre is my home! Oh the TAMYS, how I love you! I am so thankful I got to take home a TAMY award this year for my duet performance of “I’ll Never Be Jealous Again” from The Pajama Game! Ended the year with “Passengers” and could not have asked for a better scene partner, thank you Abby, I cannot wait to continue performing with you during festival. You are a phenomenal Actress! My school year ended with me and Reese goofing off in history AND math class, wish we had classes together this year! THANKFULLY we have lunch together so we can ALWAYS catch up. My forever gossip girl! Had a beautiful vacation down to the Cape with my FAVORITE people on the planet. They are the people that keep me going EVERY day! I am so thankful they are in my life, they forever changed me for the better! Went to a football game with my other favs! That was the only game we went to this year, however the hangouts with those crazies never stopped! One of the MANY photos Abi and I take! We look AMAZING! Mia and I completely loosing it while in the studio for Joseph! We loved every moment of it though! I recently took a day trip to Boston with, you guessed it my favorite people AGAIN! Had a wonderful time with them once again!! And finally, how can I not include Joseph, a show that has a great message and taught me so much about myself! I am forever positively changed from that wonderful show! THANK YOU, to everyone in my life! You bring a smile to my face every single day! I love sharing a space with you, here’s to an even more SPECTACULAR 2025! by @nathan_d2008
