This girl is on a mission to make the best bread in Idaho… and you’re coming along!

Lots of desert highways, lots of diesel, a questionable amount of caffeine, and a heart that just won’t stop chasing big things for our little bread shop. 🥖🩷

Can’t tell you what this trip is for just yet. Any guesses? Besides how much coffee it takes to fuel my enthusiasm for all things farming, agriculture, and really good bread. 😂

There is something so special about watching a vision slowly come to life. 🏡🩷

This little bakery has so much history, so many memories, and so much heart poured into every square foot. Getting to make these changes is exciting, emotional, and honestly a little overwhelming.

And then there are businesses like @brightoncorporation @homes.brighton , and @greyloch_llc who remind me just how extraordinary our community really is.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the generosity Brighton has shown our tiny local bread shop. I’ve always believed that quality matters, that the details matter, and that the things we build should be made to last. It’s something we’ve poured our hearts into at Hudson Baking Co., and something I deeply admire about Brighton.

The quality of their products is beautiful, but what has impressed me even more is the quality of the people behind them. Their generosity, genuine kindness, and willingness to support a little local business like ours speak volumes about the kind of company they are.

And a special thank you to Eli, whose patience, knowledge, and exceptional customer service have made this entire experience so wonderful. She has made me feel like our little project matters just as much as any big one. 💕

These aren’t just cabinets, counters, and finishes to me. They’re part of a dream that was built with so much love. A dream I’m doing everything I can to keep growing.

Brighton, thank you for believing in our little shop and supporting us in such a BIG way. Your generosity means more than you could possibly know.

I walked through the empty building after a full night of employees and friends helping prepare it for the changes coming.

It brought me back to the first time I walked through the door of this little farmhouse. It felt like home. I knew I was right where I needed to be, and I knew how much work it would take.

I spent months stripping trim, patching, painting, cleaning. Dreaming of all that these little walls could become.

Today, I stood in that same space, tired but still dreaming of all the things it will become.

Only this time, so many people are helping me carry it. Because this place means so damn much to so many of you.

This weekend was intense in the best way.

Friday night I ran a 5K. Saturday morning I was up early bagging bread before heading to the farmers market. And today, I worked the store.

I’m tired, but my heart is so full.

There’s something really special about getting to be in all the different pieces of this little bread shop again. Making the bread, bagging it, taking it to market, standing behind the counter, and getting to see so many of you face to face.

Thank you to every single person who continues to show up for us. Who buys a loaf, comes to the market, walks through our doors, tells a friend, or simply keeps cheering us on.

You keep supporting our little bread shop in the biggest way, and I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to explain how much that means to me.

I missed you today.

It’s still so strange to think of you as gone. To be here, doing all of this on my own. The days feel impossibly long, but somehow the nights feel even longer.

I’m still not sleeping. I’m barely eating. I’m trying to adjust to a life I never wanted and still don’t understand how to live.

I just miss you. I miss having you here.

16-year-old me would have been freaking out. 🥹🎶

I saw Third Eye Blind at a fair when I was 16… and all these years later, I got to see them again at the Western Idaho Fair on Wednesday night! 🤍

And you know what? They were just as good as I remembered. 🎸✨ There’s something so special about hearing the songs you grew up with live again—and realizing you still know every single word. 😂

I got to experience it all with my friend Anna from @hudsonbakingco , and we were lucky enough to receive VIP tickets, which gave us access to the VIP tent and the chance to get up close to the stage! 🙌🏼

Such a fun night, and definitely one of those “wow, life really comes full circle” moments. ❤️
