A visit to Stone Barns is always beautiful and this time I got to enjoy the Blue Hill cafeteria lunch (a small fraction of the cost of dinner which is now up to $559/person). The meal included: Chilled corn soup with chive oil (so, so good!) Upstate "abundance" potatoes (she mentioned they were part of an experiment!) with bonito flakes. Buckwheat with sauerkraut Whole wheat bread with ricotta and squash Sliced beef Almond and hazelnut financier with whipped cream by @ndibona

I was in dahlia and hydrangea heaven on Saturday at Clove Brook Farm. The property was open to the public for their Designer Tag sale, but I was going for the gardens...swoon! I bought the later ticket because I was going to Wethersfield, so I missed the crowds and the sale was picked over, but I also missed...Martha Stewart!!! (Pic 14 is NOT mine) We know she is an early bird, so no surprise that she was there at the start. I am sure she was very pleased with her visit because everything at Clove Brook was absolute perfection! by @ndibona

Couldn't resist the charm of Little Goat. It opened in the past year and the design is partly inspired by a Nancy Meyers movie (It's Complicated). Loved the look and feel of everything- particularly the vintage ironstone pottery and the warm paint colors- and the presentantion was perfection, too. The rigatoni with pork ragu paired with a glass of crémant was a perfect way to end a very busy day. taken in Rhinebeck, New York by @ndibona

Had to pilgrimage to Gloria's last week (East 73rd between Park and Lexington). Was happy to see the tribute still going strong nearly 3 weeks after her passing. ❤️ by @ndibona

Always enjoy the Kips Bay Decorator Show House. This year's house is in Greenwich Village, across the street from Blue Hill restaurant (so good!). Particularly loved "The Editor's Apartment"...told a great story and the details were fabulous. Show runs thru October 13th. by @ndibona

Of course, I had to check out the Rocky installation on the Art Museum steps tonight. It definitely would have benefited from a soundtrack and I expected slightly more graphics, but I am still excited to read The Steps (my copy arrived yesterday!). It will be on display through Saturday night. It was cool to see the Joe Frazier statue, too. by @ndibona
