WHEN DOTS DREAM
Where a dot becomes a thought,
a line becomes a rhythm,
and fabric becomes a memory.

Inspired by the visual language of Yayoi Kusama, this workshop explored repetition, rhythm, texture and form through an experimental process of making. Fabric, thread, found materials and everyday objects became tools for creating new visual narratives—moving from the surface of the canvas into sculptural and tactile forms.
Each work reflects a personal interpretation of dots: sometimes playful, sometimes rhythmic, sometimes fragmented, but always open to imagination.

IN FLUX — Now Open!

An evening of art, conversations and new encounters marked the opening of IN FLUX at Gallery ONKAF.

Featuring the works of Anna Krzeminska-Baoni, IN FLUX explores transformation, memory and the shifting spaces between body, nature, structure and sign through painting and textile works.

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Piotr Antoni Switalski, Charge d’Affaires a.i., Republic of Poland in India, for the inauguration, held under the Honorary Patronage of the Polish Institute New Delhi.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made the opening so memorable.

From discarded to meaningful.
ONKAF held an art workshop, “Fashion Waste: A growing crisis beneath the surface,” under the artists’ support program to engage the younger generation with the arts in the month of July 2026 conducted by Ms. Neha Pandey. The participants were first-year BFA students from K. R. Mangalam University, Haryana, who engaged in two consecutive workshops, creating 2D artwork from discarded fabric cut-outs and sculpture from junk jewellery, accessories, etc., reflecting on fashion waste in the culture of excessive consumption of trends of fast fashion. taken in Gallery ONKAF by @nehapandey60643

Gallery ONKAF cordially invites you to the opening of a group exhibition, “The Presence in the Absence,” at One New Street Gallery, Herne Bay, United Kingdom, on 25th July 2026. This exhibition features works of six artists from India, bringing together the distinctive practices of Anil Thambai, Milan Sharma, Balagopalan Bethur, Suchita Manale, Mahendra Singh Baoni and Sujith Sudharkaran.
Across a range of mediums and styles, this exhibition is conceptualized by Ms. Neha Pandey which reveals both the contrasts and connections of the presence in the absence where ideas evolve, identities are continually reimagined and a sense of self begins to take shape through what is missing, unseen or unspoken. It becomes a condition where absence does not signify emptiness but creates the possibility for reflection and development of new a perspective. This approach has enabled these artists to reinterpret societal constraints and cultural-political issues, allowing external influences to be examined and expressed on their own terms. Rather than simply accepting these influences, they have transformed absence into a form of embodiment, resistance, as well as belonging.
