Well then, bit of a wild one this week 🤯

Few of us headed to Milan, hugged a tonne of friends, popped on our best glad rags & then had the very surreal experience of hearing this little bars’ name read out amongst @the50bars Worlds 50 Best Bars list!

A huge congratulations to this very special team, the way y’all constantly weave such a wam & spectacular level of hospitality into all you do is the heart of what’s truly being recognised here. No matter what the role, when it’s such a busy & lively bar such as ours, it takes some next level talent to do it all with a smile & you lot do it so well, you almost make it look easy. Thank you for dedication you show this bar, it’s been one helluva a year & feel so lucky to work with each & everyone of y’all ❤️

And lastly thank you to every single one of yall that pop by and visit. We’re nothing without regulars and truly appreciate all yall who have supported us over the last (almost) two years!!

Drove across the country with @marcusmeisler 👨🏻‍🐰‍👨🏼

No flats. Made $100 in Vegas. Denver hospitality is unmatched. Hungover in Kansas. 1 fucked up Birkenstock. It’s way harder than you think to catch the “Welcome to…” signs. Trip of a lifetime.

SF AAPI Cocktail Week Season 4 ✅

The second year the team at Trick Dog opened their doors to the 5th installment of Asian Invasion across the nation. The back bar was laced with all of finest snacks from @hmartofficial

Featuring cocktails from Asian bartenders in North America based at @nickelcityfwtx @thunderboltla @whereislaowai, a time was had.

Thank you again to @therealdiedrich and @rhyseespieces for continuing to give visibility to AAPI heritage month and making us feel more seen. Big ups to season 4.

Here’s to running it back next year.

Help us send off our favorite boy - this FRIDAY 5/29 at the bar, from 4pm until whenever he’s done! Yes it’s true, @nickamanodolan is leaving SF….he’s hitting the open road and heading for the Big Apple. So come bask in his contagious enthusiasm and steal one last glimpse of that big beautiful smile while you can! Lots of @donnaspicklebeer and @georgedickel will be on hand to raise a glass to the sweet prince. Thanks for everything buddy, cheers to you! 🖤

I started at Trick Dog with a mullet. I can’t believe ya’ll let me do that. I might bring it back.

I’ve been at Trick Dog for 5 years. It’s the longest job I’ve ever had. I’ve gotten to work with some of the best human beings on the planet. From where we started, trying to reopen this place out of the pandemic to now feels almost unrecognizable.

I’m so proud of the work we did here. Moving to SF was one of the best decisions of my life. With that being said… I’m moving, again…. to New York.

For love (cheesy, I know but I’m really lucky so shut up), to be closer to family and quite frankly I’ve just always wanted to live out there.

My last shift behind the bar is going to be next Friday, May 29th stating at 4 and going until whenever they kick me out or I get too drunk (could be early). I don’t have time with packing and all to relearn our menu specs so I’ll be pouring up some @donnaspicklebeer and @georgedickel for the night.
