POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well then, bit of a wild one this week 🤯

Few of us headed to Milan, hugged a tonne of friends, popped on our best glad rags & then had the very surreal experience of hearing this little bars’ name read out amongst @the50bars Worlds 50 Best Bars list!

A huge congratulations to this very special team, the way y’all constantly weave such a wam & spectacular level of hospitality into all you do is the heart of what’s truly being recognised here. No matter what the role, when it’s such a busy & lively bar such as ours, it takes some next level talent to do it all with a smile & you lot do it so well, you almost make it look easy. Thank you for dedication you show this bar, it’s been one helluva a year & feel so lucky to work with each & everyone of y’all ❤️

And lastly thank you to every single one of yall that pop by and visit. We’re nothing without regulars and truly appreciate all yall who have supported us over the last (almost) two years!!

BAR SNACK - BEST COCKTAIL BAR IN THE U.S. by @tales_of_the_cocktail - unreal to think - as Rob said it very well in an interview, it’s Not not an Irish bar, not not a gay bar, just a bar! - a neighborhood bar for everyone and anyone. Also as Iain mentioned it, being called it’s just a bar” is one of THE BEST compliments (see their post for more on this).

Bar Snack is a bar where you go and enjoy, at any time! - Because at any time Bar Snack is the right answer (in my humble opinion). I’ve sat down at the bar early right when they open for a meal and a pint. I’ve sought their company, food and snacks when I’m hangover in New York. And I have also enjoyed the Bar late at night until they close for the best vibes! - The bar is beautiful, the team is incredible, the offering is one of the best ones for a bar in the city.

I’ll always be very grateful with Iain for inviting me to be a part of this project, way before there was even a location picked. I remember Izzy, Iain and I were in Ireland, and we talked about this project… Iain’s first bar in the US!

Iain I’ve said it a lot, and you know it, ILYSM I’m so proud of what you and the team have built, and the way the whole team represents Bar Snack. What you have ALL created is incredible.

Thank you also to @dsemanoff for all the support, all the love and all you do for our bar 💚.

BAR SNACK ❤️… can’t wait to be back in NYC

AND ALSO!!! - congrats to the best bartender in the US @takuma0w - love you so much my friend. Huge huge congrats, is always so good to be around you hermano

Cheers!

On Friday the 24th of July it was my 2 year anniversary since I quit drinking alcohol. The date honestly creeped up on me, life has been moving so fast this year…new shifts, new beginnings.

On one hand I’m proud of myself and on the other, I feel like “big deal, keep going”. But with that mindset I’m here. Starting the journey on year 3 already, but looking back at year 2.

I’m proud of myself and I will keep going.
