So excited to perform my poetry show memoir “Waking Up Woman” in Oakland next week. If you haven’t registered to RSVP, link is in my bio. It’s going to be special. This is my second time performing this. And yes, that’s little me on the flyer. That’s who I do it for. ♥️ #home #love #poetry #BayArea #poetry4thepeople by @nomadicbookshop

🔖 OAKLAND: come join us 9/16 at 6 PM at @nomadicbookshop for the launch of the paper version of 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘞𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳: a zine about how "cancel culture" shows up in our movement cultures...and how to prevent it from derailing our work. We'll be joined by coauthors @kazu_haga and Shilpa Jain, as well as zine illustrator @cattailscomix, to talk about the project and why it's important for organizers in 2026.

Check the link in our bio to register and reserve your spot!
