NOMAD VÉLO REVIEW — quick question. 🤨

How long do customers actually have to return an order?

Because according to Nomad Vélo’s own website:

RETURN & REFUND POLICY:
→ 100 days

PRODUCT PAGE:
→ 100-day returns

FAQ:
→ 30 days

Same website.
Same company.
Different answers. 👀

So… which one is the actual return policy?

30 days?
100 days?
Depends on which page the customer happens to read? 😂

I’m not interpreting anything here. I’m simply comparing the information currently published across different sections of the same website.

And when you’re dealing with returns and refunds, having clear and consistent information seems… fairly important. 🧾

Screenshots kept.
Pages documented.
Everything archived.

Maybe the website needs to have a little meeting with itself. 💀

NOMAD VÉLO REVIEW — let’s read their own Return Policy. 👀

According to Nomad Vélo’s published Return & Refund Policy:

1. Request a return.
Done. ✅

2. You ship it.
Done. ✅

I sent the return to the address provided by Nomad Vélo using Correos and paid €28.32 for the international return shipping.

And then comes my favourite part:

3. “We Handle the Rest.”

Their words. Not mine. 🧾

So far, I have:

✓ Requested the return
✓ Shipped the products to the address provided
✓ Paid the return shipping
✓ Provided the tracking information
✓ Declared the real value of the goods: €104
✓ Contacted Correos regarding the customs issue
✓ Kept every email, receipt and tracking update

And Nomad Vélo has now confirmed in writing that I do not need to take any further steps with Correos or Customs, and that their logistics team in China is handling the remaining customs procedures.

So…

What exactly am I still supposed to handle? 😂

Returned goods: €104
Return shipping paid: €28.32
Total currently claimed: €132.32
Refund received: €0

I’ll keep documenting the case until there is a resolution.

Hopefully the next update is simply:

RESOLVED. REFUND RECEIVED. 🤞

NOMAD VÉLO REVIEW — MY FULL EXPERIENCE 🧾

This is where the story starts.

On 24 June 2026, I ordered €104 of cycling clothing from Nomad Vélo.

After more than a month of delays, I requested a return and shipped everything back to the address they provided in China.

📦 Products returned: €104
🚚 Return shipping paid: €28.32
💰 Total currently claimed: €132.32
💸 Refund received: €0

I declared the real value (€104) despite receiving instructions to declare the package below USD 10.

The return is currently showing Duties/Taxes Pending in Chinese Customs.

Nomad Vélo has now confirmed that I have completed everything required from my side and that their China team is handling the remaining customs procedures.

Every email, receipt, tracking update and document has been kept.

And if they resolve it?

I’ll document that too. ❤️

Until then… welcome to the timeline. 🍿

DAY 123. I ASKED FOR MY REFUND. THEY OFFERED ME 5% OFF.

Today, Nomad Vélo invited me to complete a customer survey to help them build their next collections.

They asked what they should improve.

I told them about my experience.

📦 Orders placed on June 24, 2026: €105.92.

📮 Additional return shipping paid: €28.32.

📍 Latest customs information checked on October 21: awaiting payment of duties or taxes, with the status dated August 25. No newer status has been verified.

💳 Bank dispute opened with Santander.

And after completing their survey?

“Here’s your 5% off, as promised.”

A discount on my next purchase.

After 123 days, I am still waiting for a resolution to my refund request.

I appreciate brands asking for customer feedback. But collecting feedback should go hand in hand with resolving existing customer problems.

I don’t need an incentive to place another order.

I need my €105.92 back.

I followed the return process, paid the additional shipping costs and provided the necessary documentation.

I am sharing my personal experience, supported by the records available to me, in the hope of reaching a fair resolution.

Customer loyalty isn’t built with discount codes. It’s built with trust, transparency and accountability.

DAY 119. FOUR MONTHS. STILL NO REFUND.

Today, October 21, Nomad Vélo sent me yet another email saying they are “actively following up with the relevant team.”

Meanwhile, the official China Customs tracking still shows “Pending payment of duties/taxes”, unchanged since August 25 — 57 days ago.

I followed their return instructions, paid €28.32 to send the items back to China, and I’m still waiting for my €105.92 refund.

Four months of emails. No confirmed solution. No refund date.

My bank dispute remains ongoing.

Nomad Vélo, it’s time to stop sending generic responses and issue my refund.

This post documents my personal experience as a paying customer.

DAY 110. Still no refund.

48 days with exactly the same China Customs status: “Pending payment of taxes.”

Meanwhile:
“Actively monitoring.”
“Actively following up.”
“Relevant team.”

But nothing changes.

€105.92 still not refunded.
And counting. ⏳

ONE MONTH. SAME CUSTOMS STATUS.

25 AUG → 25 SEPT

待缴税
DUTIES/TAXES PENDING

Yesterday, Nomad Vélo confirmed they were still waiting for their logistics team.

Today, the official Chinese Customs status remains unchanged.

€104 returned. €0 refunded.

Documenting my experience in real time. by @nomadvelo.experience

Yesterday, Nomad Vélo told me they would follow up with their China logistics team and provide me with a “concrete update” regarding the customs/tax status of my return.

Today I asked five specific questions.

Their response confirms that they are still waiting for confirmation from their logistics team and that they have not yet been able to provide a clear update.

Meanwhile, the official Chinese Customs system continues to show my return as 待缴税 — Duties/Taxes Pending, unchanged since 25 August.

Nomad Vélo has again confirmed in writing that “no further action is required from your side.”

Returned goods: €104
Return shipping paid: €28.32
Refund received: €0

This account documents my own experience using emails, tracking information and official customs records.

I’ll update this post if the situation is resolved.

NOMAD VÉLO REVIEW — 4 QUESTIONS. 0 ANSWERS. 🧾

Today I asked four simple questions:

Have the duties been paid?
Has customs clearance been completed?
What action has the China team actually taken?
When will my €104 refund be processed?

Nomad Vélo confirmed they still don’t have this information from their China team.

Meanwhile, Chinese Customs still shows:

待缴税 — Duties/Taxes Pending.

And once again, Nomad confirmed:

“No further action is required from your side.”

So… I wait. And document. 👀🧾

€104 expected. €0 received.

Nomad Vélo told me their China logistics team was handling the remaining customs procedures.

Three checks later, the official Chinese Customs status remains unchanged.

€104 refund received: €0

So today I asked one simple question:
What concrete action has actually been taken? by @nomadvelo.experience

NOMAD VÉLO REVIEW — ANOTHER UPDATE. 🧾

Today I received another response from Nomad Vélo — this time via Outlook.

They confirm that my case “remains a priority” and that they are still following up with their logistics team in China regarding the “pending customs clearance.”

They also state that they are waiting for confirmation that the outstanding issues have been resolved before my refund can be processed.

So, once again, three very simple questions remain:

1. Have the outstanding duties/taxes been paid?
2. Has customs clearance been completed?
3. When will my €104 refund actually be processed?

As of 22 September 2026, I still have no confirmed answer to any of them.

For context: I have already been told in writing that no further action is required from my side and that their team in China is handling the remaining customs procedures.

So there is nothing left for me to do except wait.

And document. 🧾👀

Hopefully the next update will finally be:

CLEARED. RECEIVED. REFUNDED.
