FINALIST! 🏆✨

Nuksy’s Ventures has officially been named a finalist for the 29th Annual Pinnacle Awards presented by the Greater Houston Black Chamber! Thank you @houblackchamber

After 25 years of building, serving, creating and continuing to believe in this vision—even through the difficult seasons—this recognition carries so much meaning.

Nuksy’s Ventures is a full-service culinary company specializing in corporate and social catering, chef-crafted Creole cuisine, licensed bar services, prepared meals, signature beverages and Nuksy’s Gourmet® spice blends. We create flavorful food experiences and retail products designed to make gathering—and getting dinner on the table—easier and more memorable.

What began with the legacy of my grandmother Nuksy has grown into a company that serves our community, creates memorable culinary experiences and brings chef-crafted products into homes across the country.

I’m grateful for my family, my team, our clients, our customers and every person who has supported this journey. This moment belongs to all of us.

We’re going to the Pinnacle Awards & Gala as a FINALIST—and I’m taking it all in! 💚🏆

I’m honored to share that Nuksy’s Ventures™ has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 2026 Endurance Award, presented by the Greater Houston Black Chamber! @houblackchamber

The Endurance Award recognizes a Black-owned Houston business that has remained sustainable for more than 20 years while demonstrating resilience, consistency, and a lasting impact on its community.

Reaching 24 years in business is a milestone I don’t take lightly. This journey has brought changing economies, natural disasters, long days and long nights, valuable lessons, and countless moments that called for resilience and reinvention. Through it all, we’re still here—growing, creating opportunities, employing others, supporting our community, and building something for the next generation.

I’m grateful for every client, team member, partner, friend, and family member who has trusted us and helped Nuksy’s reach this moment. This recognition belongs to all of us. 💜💛🖤

Please join us for the Pinnacle Kickoff Reception, where the semi-finalists will gather and the finalists for the 29th Annual Pinnacle Awards & Gala will be announced.

📅 Monday, August 31, 2026
⏰ 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
📍 The Podium at Porsche River Oaks

Last night was a beautiful reminder of why I enjoy Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo so much. 🤎

A huge thank you to @linda.toyota for the invitation to the International Committee Closing Reception. The room was full of incredible energy, amazing restaurant partners, outstanding food, great music, and the kind of networking that reminds you how powerful it is when people come together in service and celebration.

What I love most about Rodeo is that it is bigger than the event itself. It is the people, the relationships, and the volunteer spirit behind it all. I’m proud to serve through the Black Heritage Committee, and I’m always inspired by the many committees that work so hard to create memorable experiences for Houston while supporting scholarships, youth, and community impact.

Serving, building relationships, and showing up with purpose will always matter. Last night was special, and I’m grateful to be in rooms that reflect excellence, culture, connection, and commitment to this city.

Houston, y’all know how to do it right. 🤠✨
