This is why we love what we do. The encounters have been getting better and better recently, and today was one of the days that i’ll never forget. Soon as we dropped down we met 3 threshers but still continued to swim out into the blue until suddenly this shiver of scalloped hammerhead sharks appeared out of nowhere. WHAT a magical morning it was!! 🤩🔥

Orcas in Fuvahmulah!!

A few weeks ago, after seeing a smalltooth sand tiger shark, I truly thought my bucket list was complete. Never in my life did I think I would ever see orcas here in Fuvahmulah.

But today it happened. The best day of my life.
An orca pod was sighted at Thundi, and we rushed out just hoping for a glimpse. Instead, we were lucky enough to dive with them and see them up close. A beautiful pod, even with a small bab following its mom.

I honestly can’t put into words how this feels. A dream come true.

Thank you, Fuvahmulah, for always surprising me.

So grateful to call this place home
