Playoff match against the Lions and was the 1st female and 2nd player ever to perform the pullover this way on the Grid. What better way to do it than alongside the OG @smeric17 🤩

You didn’t see that coming. Both of these beasts will be back on the floor in their first playoff appearances on Oct 3&4 in Lakeland FL. Comment “Champs” and we’ll DM you a link to ticket and livestream information. taken in Lakeland, Florida by @nywolveshq

Bringing back skills from my gymnastics days 🤪 I was never an aerial girl but I used to do these on a 4” beam 💅🏼

Never in a million years would I have thought these skills would be put to use again years later and doing them on a different comp floor in my 30’s 🤭 Ex gymnast coming in handy on the Grid! by @nywolveshq

Moving 680lbs from ground to overhead in 0:20

The ladder is one for my favorite races from @unitedgridleague - I get to move heavy weights fast for the @nywolveshq, what could be more fun than that

A season of firsts.
.
First @unitedgridleague season as a coach
First season for the @nywolveshq
First rookie expansion team to make it to playoffs
First team to have a player ejected from the Grid 🤣
First match to have both teams not finish the Sprint Relay 😅
.
Some firsts are better than others. And I could also go off to list the individual firsts of each and every athlete on this team. (Like HELLO - so many people stepped up and learned new skills they didn’t think possible!)
.
Did we want to take it all? Absolutely. Who doesn’t?
But what was more important to me was the learning we all did along the way.
.
I was elected Coach of the Year - but I feel like my growth has only just begun. I’m learning and growing with every chance I get and every chance this team will give me.
.
I’ll admit, I started with false confidence, putting on a brash air that I knew it all and could handle it myself. But in reality, I was insecure. I was trying to “prove myself” when I really didn’t have to. There’s a difference between demanding and commanding a team. I learned that quickly after our first match and continued to keep myself in check with the help of my captains, @mrosa516 and @karaceleste. To say I couldn’t have done it without them is an understatement.
.
And holy hell, thank you to @jennpowers_wolf for supporting me and the team. She may be behind the scenes most of the time, but she has supported everyone in ways that we’ll never fully understand. She made sure our heads were in the game and we could focus on what truly mattered - the pack and the match at hand.
.
So I’m proud of what we accomplished, but I know that there is so much more to be done. I’m going to keep growing. I know this family we’ve created will keep growing. And we look forward to taking that trophy next year 😜
.
WOLVES ON THREE. 1…2…3… 🐺

And that’s a wrap on OUR rookie season! 💙

What a way to finish it out! Making it to playoffs as rookies, having multiple teammates receive awards AND our coach receiving coach of the year. WOW. 😮‍💨

Forever grateful for this opportunity to meet some of the most amazing humans that are now family to me.

Being recognized on the Eastern Conference All-Star Team was not something I expected but am so appreciative of. Congratulations to everyone else who received their awards in their respective categories!

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for me in Grid. I think I maybe found the thing I enjoy most so I may just be back for more 😉 by @nywolveshq

A good friend of mine asked me the “secret to the Wolves’ rookie-year success”…

We've likened our success this season, perhaps ad nauseam, to our recently anointed hometown heroes, the New York Knicks: tenacity in the face of adversity, intensity in spite of reserved dispositions, appreciation for similarities, respect for differences, and a willingness to distill all of that into the focus required to execute in a sport where you barely have time to count your own reps. But the grid has heard all that before, so what is the true "secret" to our success? Sacrifice. It's what no one has seen but everyone has felt. In a league that is still developing its financial incentives and player accolades (both of which are improving!), our team has committed to showing up and being something more than a collection of leaders in our respective spaces. We've put aside our egos and surrendered our weekends, all for the person next to us. Everyone has their own reasons for competing, but it's the sacrifices we share that make us a team.

Personally, I don't think i've ever felt this disappointed in a loss, but I know it just means that I was a part of something special. Holding on to this feeling so that I never have to go through it again.

Congratulations to @fortlauderdalelions on the well-deserved playoff win and the @swflsharks for taking the whole thing. A big thank you to @unitedgridleague leadership for giving us the opportunity to further the league by showcasing our athleticism and to the volunteers for the endless hours of work. Last but not least, thank you to our support squad - your sacrifices were inarguably the greatest.

The rookie season is over, but the @nywolveshq will be back.
