Our LA pop up is this weekend only, at The Feel LA (4030 N. Figueroa in Highland Park). We have many items ranging from smaller offerings under $40 to some antique statement pieces looking for the right home, and so much in between.

I got myself this old candleholder recently, it's the only thing I've bought myself since I've been back in the US. It is perfectly imperfect like most things I love, and brings me back to the early pandemic days, when I had a realization while sitting alone night after night in a studio apartment that YES, candlelight existed, and yes, it was for all of us, even me having dinner alone.

It's been an untethered year. So much richness and disappointment and wind through the sweaty clothes on a motorbike and pure terrifying uncertainty. I'm 44 today. Life has an odd texture these days. Let's not forget to hold one another. by @overdot

There's poetry in the process. Before it becomes a robe, it starts out as dye plants like indigo, or Indian almond. Here the plants are processed by hand, and the yarn is dried after dyeing before being woven into the final fabric. by @overdot
