Against the backdrop of a suspected cyberattack, several blue-chip works are to be sold
@christiesinc starting this evening (21st Century Evening Sale/Della Cruz Collection) and then Thursday (20th Century Evening Sale). A selection of our highlights follows which despite the challenging social and political global climate and the added uncertainty brought by this technical issue should sell and for some works remarkably well. Works to watch tonight include Brice Marden’s glorious ‘Event’, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s most revered 1982 stretcher bar painting among others, as well as the Della Cruz discerning collection as a whole with Ruscha’s ‘Truth’ later this week. ✨✨✨💫⏳
