Call it divine timing, the gift of having an amazing community or just seasonal luck - I’m moving out of the studio and into the Portuguese countryside for a short art residency / retreat

My aim… To first relax, breathe and rest.

I want to take my ideas, my materials and reconnect with the creative work that I’ve amassed the past 18months and to observe how the steps reveal themselves in this space and in nature.

It might be big and loud, or small and quiet. Perhaps both.

I’m fighting with the idea of creating order, aims, outcomes - against just letting be.
Letting things arrive and find their place in nature and course of time feels right - taking these evolutions back to the studio to create a deeper awareness of how my next collection grows.

I do, however have a few ideas I’m flirting with…
