#TBT to March 11, 2020: Day 1 of John Kiley and Dante Marioni's 2020 Visiting Artist Residency at MOG. We never imagined that this would be the last visiting artists (VAs) of 2020!
Like you, over the past 12 months we've only been able to experience the VA program through video flashbacks. It's been a steady reminder of the excitement that fills the Cone each day artists are at work. All of us here at MOG are looking forward to the day when we can safely welcome artists back to our glassblowing studio and witness art in the making.
In the meantime, enjoy this episode of Happy Hour featuring footage from Kiley and Marioni's 2017 Residency. This was the beginning of their collaborative work, which continued in their residency one year ago today.

That video made me laugh. What a great idea. Why didn't we ever think of doing this in the hot shop?! How fun!
