او نخستین حضور سینمایی خود را در فیلم «در بارانداز» (On the Waterfront) به کارگردانی الیا کازان و در کنار مارلون براندو تجربه کرد و موفق به کسب جایزه اسکار بهترین نقش مکمل زن شد.

خانم سنت سپس در نقش «ایو کندال»، در فیلم «شمال از شمال غربی» (North by Northwest) به کارگردانی آلفرد هیچکاک ایفای نقش کرد و جایزه گلدن گلوب را برد.

او همچنین کارنامه تلویزیونی موفقی داشت و در سال ۱۹۶۰ به پاسداشت فعالیتش در عرصه سینما و تلویزیون، دو ستاره در پیاده‌رو مشاهیر هالیوود به نامش ثبت شده است.

او در طول ۷۰ سال بازیگری، نقش‌های ماندگاری از خود به جا گذاشت.

These beautiful photographs of Maharajji were taken by Balaram Das on Guru Purnima in 1972, in Vrindavan, India. ❤️

While we don’t have a specific story to share about these photographs, we can feel the joy, the love, and the light through these images that must have surrounded Maharajji on this sacred day.

For so many of us, Maharajji comes through meditation, dreams, books, stories, and photographs. Though we may not have had the blessing of sitting physically before him, photos like these give precious glimpses into his life, brings us closer to his divine presence.

Knowing these moments were captured on Guru Purnima invites us to imagine the hearts gathered around him, the laughter, the devotion, and the blessing of simply being near Maharajji.

More than fifty years later, what a gift to witness these moments and remember that Maharajji’s love is not bound by time or distance. That same love is here, alive in every heart that remembers him.
