I know I don’t ever talk about politics or anything on here, but this will eat at me if I stay silent. I voted for Harris/Walz and I’ll tell you why. When it comes to the Opportunity Economy plan, it provides everyone a chance to be able to create their own success. I also believe in the right for women to choose and healthcare NOT be dictated by the government but actual medical professionals. There are many other clear policies that I like, but the main reason I’m voting for Harris is because it is a vote against Trump and I’ll tell you why. Trump and the GOP have become the most heartless and disgusting group of hate-mongering and racist clowns I’ve ever seen. They have sacrificed their human values to support a hateful rhetoric that immigrants, LGBTQ, and women are less than and should be hated and feared. The person I love most, @iselacasas_ , is a Mexican woman and it’s an almost daily occurrence that these people say she is not deserving of the American dream. Some of my best friends are members of the LGBTQ community and having to hear the disgusting lies that the GOP spreads about them daily makes me want to vomit. But the biggest reason I am against trump and the GOP is I am staunchly against christian nationalism. Christian nationalism is a CANCER on this country. There are mega church pastors out there such as Greg Locke, Joel Webbon, Lance Wallnau, Kenneth Copeland, Shane Vaughan, Dillon Awes, Hank Kunneman, Jason Rapert, are just a handful of the pastors that speak from the pulpit every week and their entire message is women shouldn’t be allowed to vote, Trump is the actual messiah, immigrants are poisoning America, and that gay people should be executed by the government. I hope that you don’t believe me. I hope that you google these disgusting pigs and hear what comes out of their mouths. They constantly are lying about how this country was founded as a Christian nation (it wasn’t) and how Christians are empowered by god to take over this country.
