thankful to my physio @isabelswitt for pushing to get this done & to Dr. Heard, his team and hospital staff for getting me in quick and operating on Christmas Eve🙏🏼

was having some issues with the knee so we decided to get it cleaned up. local freezing followed by the removal of the suture end on the lateral meniscus which had been irritating my femur & causing irregular swelling around the knee whenever i’d do basic movements! also removed some scar tissue under the knee cap whilst getting to watch the whole surgery live! (pretty cool for a kin student 🤙)

although this is a small setback, my rehab should now be accelerated as i won’t have to take a step back every time i step forward🤞

Would never have guessed i’d be into my second surgery just 41 weeks after the first one and yet so grateful for everything that’s happened since being injured 378 days ago. Time for a short bit of rest then back to it.

I’ve grown so much from this and I couldn’t be more content with the journey i’m on. Merry Christmas y’all ❤️
