✨ Today's creativity joy: seed hunting! ✨
I snuck away to @connonnurseries this afternoon to hunt for dye plant seeds! On my wish list: African Marigolds for golden yarns, Hopi sunflowers for mysterious purples, and Dyer's Chamomile for buttery yellows. Plus whatever unexpected colour-makers catch my eye!
I found: Cosmos, bright lights and Crackerjack marigold which are a African marigold! Win!
I like the excitement in this moment—before the planting, before the growing—just seed packets, and botanical daydreaming.

I usually head to the nurseries around this time of the year to get annuals. I want to get some native plants - are any of those native to Ontario? but this year it’s still so cold outside!!
