ZION100… you were beautiful. You were brutal. You were a dream. You were a nightmare.
I laughed, I marveled, I was full of joy, I was proud of my effort, I was in awe of God and His creation… I was disappointed, I was hopeless, I was angry, I was empty, I cried many tears.
I have not encountered pain like this, and yet held such a strong resolve that I refuse to quit.

We pushed relentlessly for 73 miles / 117 kms for over 28 hours straight through some of the most difficult conditions and terrain… but unfortunately missed our time cutoff and were not allowed to continue.

This ultra marathon beat me…

but I ran my race. I endured and conquered more than anyone will truly know. And for that I am happy and grateful.

@cody_novini - you’re my brother and I love you. Well fought battle mate.
