The Artist Gathering happens the day before the convention opens to the public—and has become a yearly tradition, a highlight, and a day we value just as much as the main event.

It’s a chance to unwind, meet the artists and helping hands behind the booths, and connect on a level that often gets lost in the chaos of convention days. Whether you’re looking to expand your network in the world of blackwork tattooing or just want a solid excuse to get buzzed with new friends, this gathering sets the tone for everything that follows. Compared to the usual all-work-no-play convention atmosphere (with all due respect), this is where we take the time to actually get to know each other.
