HB 3333 passed the Texas House today! While there are still several steps to go, this is cause for celebration.

Thank you again @moralesfortexas for championing this bill, as well as the folks who helped get it on the House Calendar and everyone who submitted testimony or comments for the earlier committee hearing. HB 3333 has so much support and we’re excited by what we’re achieving together. Let’s ensure the Devils River in Val Verde County remains pristine for future generations to enjoy.

We will share news about companion bill in the Senate soon, as well as how you can support that complementary effort. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Did you know that healthy women can grow new eggs at any age? Let me know your thoughts below! . Research shows that the whole concept of menopause and freezing eggs is obsolete. We know that women do NOT have a finite number of eggs. In contrast, it is only in rare cases that the number of eggs is the limiting factor in a pregnancy. In reality, it’s the ovarian context, influenced by nutrition and lifestyle choices, that primarily limits the ability to get and stay pregnant later in life, backed by evidence. That’s also why female fertility factors are so sensitive to nutrition and metabolic health status. However, this is by no means a recommendation to wait until the last day to have your first child. But it should take the pressure off you in the sense that it is not necessary to commit to a non-ideal partner because you feel obligated by time constraints.
