Cherry Matcha 🍒🍵 My dream is to open an Asian café, and I’m building the menu one dish at a time – with you here!
It’s a super easy, refreshing iced drink that balances sweet, tart cherries with creamy milk and bold matcha. The result is a beautiful, layered drink that you’ll want to sip all day long!
Ingredients:
- 7-8 cherries- pitted
- 1-1.5 Tbsps sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1/3rd cup hot water for matcha
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- Lots of Ice
Process:
- Pit & chop the cherries until fine
- Add the sugar and continue chopping
- For the matcha, sift the powder into a bowl, add the hot water and whisk it with a bamboo whisk or regular wisk
- Start with the cherries at the bottom
- Add lots of ice, add in the milk and top it up with the matcha
- Serve chilled and enjoy
