It’s finally here y’all!📖📚🧜🏼♀️✨
@elle_jimenez is now officially an author🤩 This is such a proud moment for me. I have known this woman for the better part of a decade now. I have watched her go through hard things that would’ve taken some people down, and I’ve also seen her accomplish so many things I couldn’t even try to count. In all this time she damn near always accomplishes what she sets out to do, without necessarily even knowing the path to get there. She just trusts in the system, she trusts in the Universe and she trusts herself. Writing a book has been on her list of things to do for years.
Elle grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to the states as a teenager. She became a professional dancer, and somehow that morphed into being a professional mermaid. And so began the story of @themermaidelle
I could say I don’t know how it happened, because really it’s been this growing and changing unexplainable enigma. Meanwhile Elle herself was also growing and changing. She went from someone who never sits down and takes a breath, to this grounded and centered woman who prioritizes peace in her life. She is such an excellent example and role model for girls and young women trying to find their way. She’s also a fierce warrior working through her nonprofit organization, @savingtheseasorg to save the oceans that mean so much to her and sustain life for all of us. It’s been a twisting and turning adventure and I have been there for the whole ride. I’ve seen every iteration of Mermaid Elle come to life. It has been one of the greatest pleasures of my life to know Elle, be her friend and to love the human behind this mythical creature.
Y’all go get this book for your kid, for yourself, for your classroom or your library. It’s so fun and well written. The story is very sweet and gives an important message to all of us.
We need to take better care of this world if we want it to take care of us and the generations that come behind us.
This is very special and I am pretty certain this is not the last book that she’s going to write.

Thank you for all the love and support and for holding my hand when I needed the most! You continue to be my rock and my best friend through this life and I’m so grateful for you! I’m pretty sure if it wouldn’t have been for you, Mermaid Elle would’ve never happened. Love you! To the moon and back!
