I am so grateful I got to witness Piper cleaning her baby. Her baby plopped down on the grass with their beak up and Piper promptly flew over to preen him/her 🥰. Preening helps crows clean their feathers, remove parasites, and keep their plumage in good condition. They cannot reach all parts of their body, so they rely on others to help. #crowfriends #crowsofinstagram #crowlovers #corvidsofinstagram #allopreening
