Wild places sustain wild things. Without those wild places, we’re destroying a way of life that will never return.
I’m sure most all of you have heard about the 3+ million acres of public land that will be sold if @senmikelee gets his way. My entire adult life, I have identified as a public land hunter, fisherman and hiker. It’s incredibly important to me that my kids get to experience the same lifestyle I have been able to live because of these lands.
They want to sell you and your families land to benefit what? The national debt? If we sold 3 million acres at 1k per acre, it would be 3 billion dollars. The national debt is over 36 TRILLION.
Affordable housing? So more people can own multiple homes and rent them out on Airbnb?
They are taking you and your families land, and not giving you a say so. They do not care about the little guys. If we lose them we will never get them back.
It doesn’t matter if you live in the west or in my home state of Ms, you HAVE to let your voice be heard and call your senator.

I’ll end this by saying that if you have a platform, and you recreate on public land, please speak up. It doesn’t matter what your political stance is, this is bigger than all of us.
