I had the absolute honour of being made the Guest of Honour at the graduation ceremony of one of our @rtbsm outreach schools — and what a humbling privilege it was!

Sometimes I smile thinking about how young I am, yet somehow have several children already 😅 young minds who hug me like I’m their whole world. It’s such a gift I don’t take lightly. I’m truly, deeply grateful for this privilege. 🙏

One lesson God has been teaching me recently is this: do not turn your emotions into your reality. Emotions are valid. They are feelings triggered by circumstances — disappointment, fear, excitement, grief — but they are not the ultimate truth of your life. You only create a false reality when you act based on those emotions rather than God’s word.

For example, you pray about something and it doesn’t go how you hoped. The emotion that may rise is doubt. If you act on that doubt and stop trusting God, you are creating the reality of unbelief. So yes, emotions will come — but our actions should be rooted in the truth of God’s Word, not in temporary feelings.

Also, a little highlight from the day: we presented the Best Behaved Student Award to encourage other students to model positive character. These children are so full of life, and their excitement when they saw me was priceless 🥹. Always excited to see them too! 💛
