Fantastiskt kul tävlingshelg 🤩! Välarrangerade lopp på utmanande banor och många fina möten med härliga människor mellan starterna. Jag ställde upp i två distanser i veteranklasser och är tacksam för att kroppen samarbetade 🙏!

it’s nothing to do with men. & I’ll keep on explaining it, until you get it @beattheboyss is about female empowerment. let’s get girls staying in sport and more women on race start lines. #beattheboys
Almost 24 hours, 3 days, 1,500 safety pins, and a WHOLE lot of patience later! 😭✨ Y’all asked, so here’s how I brought this jacket to life! 🖤 If you have any questions about the materials or process, drop them below! I’m more than happy to help. 🫶🏾 Now, if y’all will excuse me, I need to go ice my fingers after being stabbed approximately 1,500 times. 😭💀
Meru aspiring politician Gaki Bensouda, who is eyeing the Tigania MP seat, is trending online after alleged voice notes capturing a heated altercation between her and her daughter surfaced. In the recordings, the daughter is heard calling for help and warning her mother that her political career could be over if she releases the audio. The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some netizens defending Gaki and insisting that children must respect their parents, while others have condemned the alleged physical confrontation, arguing that Gen Zs have become too disrespectful towards their parents. However, the reason behind the altercation remains unclear, and I could not find reliable reporting establishing what triggered the confrontation. #gakibensouda JOIN BNN BASIC https://t.me/bnnkenya/97270
Netflix is making some major cuts to its workforce. The streaming giant announced Wednesday (Oct. 14) that it’s laying off approximately 1,000 employees, accounting for roughly 6% of its workforce. According to CNBC, the cuts will primarily affect workers in the product, technology, legal, and human resources departments. In a memo to employees, #Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters explained that the company must be strategic about its resources, despite remaining financially strong. “Our business is strong and growing, and we remain on track to deliver our full year forecast,” the executives wrote, adding that Netflix plans to continue investing in areas that support growth and innovation. The layoffs come just weeks after Sarandos admitted Netflix was “not growing as fast as I want.” While the company remains a streaming powerhouse, viewership has reportedly stalled. Netflix is also facing increased competition from #YouTube and the planned combination of Paramount+ and #HBOMax. Netflix is scheduled to report its latest quarterly earnings on Oct. 20.
