#BOOKREVIEW so at first i thought about not reading this since i knew it was gonna be sad and tragic but staying away from a hollyj mystery is quite impossible. And by god i hate myself for picking this up cause this is gonna be one of the books which will make me cry anytime anyday no matter how much time has passed. The story balances the mystery behind jet’s murder and at the same time how jet deals with her upcoming death perfectly. Her being so determined to accomplish this one last thing for herself and how it unraveled all the relationships around her was just so amazingly done. I cried so much while reading and then cried some more when editing and now im crying again writing this review. I also shared the trauma to my friend and made her sad too.Jet might be one of my fav fmcs ever. Tho one thing is that as much as i like holly’s open endings , i just for once wish for an actual ending that shows aftermath and gives you closure. One of my top reads of year for sure.
