These past three months have been truly transformative, an experience I will not trade for anything.
As a woman in the construction industry, I have always been driven by a deep desire to grow, lead, and make meaningful impact. With my current recent appointment as a Board Chair for the AAQS Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors Young Quantity Surveyors, I knew it was crucial to equip myself with the right knowledge and tools to lead effectively at the board level.
When @wimbizng announced their Board Mentoring Program, I answered the call and what an incredible journey it has been!
Through intensive training sessions led by exceptional mentors like Ogunniran Hakeem, Folake Sanu, Abi Ayida, Opunimi Akinkugbe, Cathy Echeozo, Alawusa Adewuyi, Nike Adeyemi, to name a few and a deeply insightful one-on-one mentorship with the amazing @jamjam2830, I can confidently say: I AM BOARD READY!
Thank you to WIMBIZ NG for continually creating platforms that empower women to rise and thrive across corporate sectors. I am excited for this next chapter and the opportunity to contribute at the highest levels of leadership.
