This summer, I had the honor of creating a mural at the community building in Warten. The community invited me to design a piece inspired by the village and its surroundings.
The result is a lively composition depicting a youthful scene: children leaping from a jetty into the Frisian waters, with cows grazing peacefully in the background. They are accompanied by a rook and a swan, symbols that reflect the spirit of the village and its landscape.
The color palette shifts from nostalgic sepia to vibrant pink, representing the hopeful and optimistic future that lies ahead for the community.
