I adore love triangles - I’ll eat them up every time!
I binged Lore of the Wilds and Lore of the Tides during a reading slump, and this duology ended up being such a fun surprise! It’s fast-paced yet cozy, and the romance had me giggling and kicking my feet. I initially put it off because of the mixed reviews, but I honestly had a blast! It does read very YA, but I didn’t mind.
I also really appreciated the genuine slow burn. Like… actual slow burn! In this economy?! 🤩🤌
Thematically, I loved the emphasis on liberation, resistance, and found family. There were several moments that genuinely made me tear up 🥹 I’m pretty satisfied with the ending, though there are still some unresolved questions/loose ends.
If you’re after an easy-to-read duology with fun tropes, this is a great pick! Think green academia romantasy with a cozy, cottagecore vibe. It was the ideal summer binge, and I’m so excited to see what Analeigh Sbrana writes next!

I do like love triangles, I just wish there was a better description for it 😂 it's usually more like two love interests and not a full triangle where everyone is interested in each other
