Okay I had to hop on this trend…. I would’ve never thought when I went to @westernuniversity that I’d try out for a novice rowing team, and I definitely never thought this new sport would end up taking me to TWO Olympics with @jenny_joan_casson 😭

Throw in some lifelong best friends, a husband, international travel and a love for gelato, and I’d say it was a good choice 👌🩷

If you’ve got a new opportunity, take it! You never know where things may lead 🫶

Am I sad to think the sight of a fully loaded trailer is a thing of beauty?

Nobody really knows what they’re doing when they first begin. You try something, get it wrong, learn a little, and try again. Eventually, you get better. You become more certain of yourself, or at least better at figuring things out as you go. It is a strange thing to grow into a person you once only imagined becoming. Actors spend so much of their lives working toward a future version of themselves that they rarely consider what happens when they finally meet that person. For #RabinAngeles (@rabinangeles_), #AngelaMuji (@angela_muji), and #ZekePolina (@zeke_polina), there’s no final cut to becoming. With the fresh release of their loved online series, the three has since marked another chapter in the work of finding their footing, confronting their innermost questions, and growing into their craft. For Zeke, Angela, and Rabin, the road towards becoming actors they want to become has never been a straightforward progression from wanting something to finally having it. Their experiences have taken them through checks and balances, moments of reprieve, and different beginnings. Yet, for The Breakthrough Issue, in their conversation about “Dating Alys Perez” and what’s next in their slate, it is about three young artists learning to live with who they are while making room for who they have yet to become.
