Saw a local theatre production of The Importance of Being Earnest and the actor playing Jack Worthing was on wooden crutches. And it played so well that I thought it was a choice, not a necessity. Got to meet the actor after the show, and he said that he did indeed break his foot, and the crutches were most necessary. Honestly, it was one of the most entertaining versions of the play I've seen!

You get handless crutches that are similar to your freedom leg, but essentially you’re kneeling, so you barely the weigh on your knee/shin

It called an orthopedic walking boot and they come in black. Where I live in Michigan the doctors have you wak on broke ties and foot. The doctor do not put you in cast or orthopedic walking boot. You ate told to rest, but to keep walking on the injurytoe or food. So when I dislocated two toes and broke bones in some foot I didn't bother going to my doctor I just pop the toes back into place.

Okay, I had literally no idea. I saw it opening night and had NO idea. In fact, I saw you after in your boot and I didn’t even realize it was you on stage! I just thought the actor didn’t come out after 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t think I could be more impressed, but I stand corrected 🤯

I have a friend who also broke his fifth metatarsal on stage!! Theater is dangerous for toes I guess!

Hey Andrew, get better man. I remember when I went to see you as Strat in the New York cast of Bat Out Of Hell the Musical, twice. I remember when you broke your foot then! Amazing performance!
