thinking back to times of laughs, encouragement & conviction w/ @graylanhagler. his legacy will live on in those he fought for and built with. read some of his words at the end slides 🙌🏼.
my limited time with him include memories of him opening up his congregation in less than 24hrs when @mohammedelkurd Palestinian poet’s event was canceled at American University, disrupting @councilofdc several times demanding a Ceasefire resolution w/ @dc4palestine , demonstrating in front of the MLK memorial addressing the 3 evils w/ @dcpoorpeoplescampaign @codepinkdc @claudiajonesschool , delivering a petition outside of Pepperdine to get Johnnie Moore of the Gaza “Humanitarian” Foundation fired, celebrating at the Peace Ball & at his @busboysandpoets tribute, and reading more of his stories of his labor and faith struggles in MA & Baltimore, and Palestine. 🕊️
even if you didn’t know Reverend Hagler, folks are encouraged to go to his celebration of life ..as he’s touched people across the world, there’s also a virtual option.
